I am currently the president of the Girls Who Code club at my school where we teach girls how to code, have guest speakers introduce their field of study, and compete in team coding competitions. This will help Texas resolve the ongoing high dropout rate issue and help the state allocate funding to the areas that need the most support. The goal of the project was to predict the main cause of high dropout rates in Texas high schools using data provided by the TEA (Texas Education Agency). I worked on my own research project and paper with the help of mentor Philip Bell (Computer Science MS from Georgia Tech, Harvard and Oxford alum, AI Engineer at Cognino). I am now the AI Ambassador for Inspirit AI at McNeil High School and am planning to start a new AI club next year, to get students interested in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
