Well, many comic book shops are just like that. Have you watched the show Kitchen Nightmares? Which often features restaurants opened by people who thought, "Hey, I'd like to own a restaurant" but otherwise have no qualifications for running a business let alone serving people food? And then are shocked when the restaurant sucks and money gets flushed down the toilet. What do you guys think? I was thinking about buying comics again online or go to another local comic book shop since I moved to another town. I am still a little steamrd about the whole situation. I thought he either did not like me or disliked me asking so many comic book questions. I was not sure what I did wrong as a customer to be treated this way.

I also bought back prints as well such as Jimmy Olsen Comics, famous graphic novel series (All star Superman, Dark Knight, Flashpoint).

Why did I have comics pulled if I ended up having to hunt down comics myself every week. I was expected by the owner to pull the missing comics from weeks prior from the selves myself. I would come in the following week thinking he would pull the missing comics from the prior week for me. I was fine with this due to understanding the situation. He stated that new 52 was more popular than he anticipated and ran out of the comics before I got there. The problem was he never had all my comics ready. I then started going to pick up my comics every week. He made a comment that if I came earlier the comics would might still not be ready. I would go to his store every Thursday evening to give him extra time to get my comics ready. I was okay with this since I went to school two blocks from his shop. He told me all comics came in on a Thursday and would be ready to be picked up every Thursday. It was mostly DC titles with a few Marvel titles in the mix (Spider-man family). I decided to start buying 15 titles every month. The comic book store owner (who ran the store most of the time) said I needed to pick out 10 titles to start the pulling process. I went to my local comic book shop and asked about having comics pulled(?) for me every month. I decided that it was best to start buying comics then due to stories starting over from scratch. I wanted to write about this experience before but did not do so due to still being quite upset about the whole ordeal. I thought I would write about my experience that lead directly to not buying comics from my local comic book shop.
